Freeroll Poker Tournaments – The Biggest Event Of All!
Saturday, 19. June 2010
Freeroll poker tournaments are daily events that occur on a lot of the greatest internet poker rooms. Freerolls are much admired by the poker betting community as they provide the poker competitors the ability to gain some actual $$$$ without losing any. The entry to these freerolls is – like their titles indicates – cost-free and jackpot cash can range from a couple of bucks for placing to a few hundred dollars for capturing the big freeroll Texas Holdem poker tournaments.
So why do the poker sites have free tournaments? Is it as a result of their incredibly benevolent character and the fact that they acquire vast sums of $$$$ so they have a moral obligation to bestow some of it back?
What do you believe!
No of course it isn’t, the basis that the big poker rooms provide freerolls is to lure folks to their site.
Here is the idea in a nutshell – You come across a poker site that has an exceptional freeroll, it costs you zip to enroll in and you are able to capture one hundred dollars. You think "Great!" and you go along to the poker site and sign up as a member so that you can compete in the freeroll. You gamble and get knocked out early and are ticked off on the grounds that you perceive you should have done better, or you go near the end and so you’re looking for even more play. What do you do? You wager some cash at the poker room and bet on another poker match!
Make sure to check the freerolls for payout constraints, you’ll nearly always need to participate in a couple of hands for actual cash before they allow you take the winnings out. Often this is on a one to one basis, so if you capture twenty dollars at the free poker tournament you’ll need to have gambled for 20 dollars in bonafide $$$$$ in order for you to be able to take out the money.
