Double-hand Poker is a modern game with ancient origins. Based on the old Chinese tile game and the current American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the far east with the west in a fantastic game for starting players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler against the house, not like nearly all other poker games that players bet against other players. By betting against the dealer, new players do not have to fret about any other, more advanced players taking their moolla.

An additional Pai Gow advantage is the relatively leisurely game play, beginners should be able to take their time and strategize without needing to make hasty decisions.

It’s also simpler to gamble on for a very long time with just a tiny amount of cash after all, to lose, each of your hands has to be lower than both of the casino’s hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the regular 52-card common deck and a single joker. The gambler is given 7 cards faces showing and the croupier receives 7 cards faces hidden.

One 5 card hand and a two card hand need to be put together from the 7 cards dealt, the 5 card hand has to be higher than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand values to be larger than the dealer’s.
