Pai Gow Poker is a current game with old origins. Founded on the ancient Chinese tile game and the current American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the far east with the west in a great game for beginning level gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler against the dealer, not like the majority of other poker games that gamblers play against other gamblers. By playing against the dealer, new players don’t need to fret about any other, more experienced gamblers taking their cash.
One more Pai Gow benefit is the relatively leisurely game pace, beginners should be able to take their time and plan while not having to make quick choices.
It is also easier to gamble on for a long time with only a tiny bit of cash after all, to not win, both of your hands needs to be lower than each of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the normal 52-card basic deck and one joker. The player is assigned 7 cards face up and the casino gets 7 cards faces hidden.
One 5 card hand and one two card hand need to be put together from the seven cards, the 5 card hand must be stronger than the two card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be larger than the houses.
