Web poker has become world famous lately, with televised championships and celebrity poker game events. Its popularity, though, arcs back in fact a bit farther than its TV ratings. Over the years many variants on the first poker game have been developed, including a few games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of the above-mentioned games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely resembling chemin de fer than long-standing poker, in that the gamblers wager against the bank instead of the other players. The winning hands, are the established poker hands. There is no concealment or different kinds of bamboozlement. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up before the croupier declares "No more wagers." At that moment, both you and the house and of course every one of the different gamblers acquire five cards each. Once you have seen your hand and the bank’s first card, you need to in turn make a call bet or bow out. The call wager’s amount is on same level to your original wager, meaning that the stakes will have increased two fold. Giving Up means that your bet goes instantaneously to the casino. After the bet comes the conclusion. If the casino doesn’t have ace/king or better, your wager is returned, plus a figure on par with the initial wager. If the house does have ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand beats the bank’s hand. The casino pays out chips equal to your bet and set odds on your call wager. These odds are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • two to one for 2 pairs
  • 3-1 for three of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • twenty to one for a 4 of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
