Pai Gow Poker is a modern game with ancient ancestry. Based on the ancient Chinese domino game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the eastern with the wild west in a wonderful game for beginner level gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player versus the dealer, not like almost all other poker games that players wager with other players. By wagering against the dealer, new players don’t need to fret about other, more experienced individuals taking their mulla.

A further Pai Gow edge is the relatively slow game pace, rookies will be able to take their time and strategize without needing to make quick selections.

It is also simpler to bet on for a long time with just a small bit of cash after all, to not win, both of your hands needs to be lower than both of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the regular 52-card standard deck and a single joker. The player is assigned 7 cards faces showing and the house is given seven cards faces hidden.

One five card hand and one two card hand have to be put together from the 7 cards dealt, the five card hand must be higher than the 2 card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand totals to be larger than the casino’s.
